Agent Mai

This is my illustration I created for the Character Design Monthly challenge. The theme was Dragonball. I decided to do one of my favorite characters Mai from the Pilaf Gang. I absolutely adore her design and passion to pursue her mission and do a good job. Dragonball was also the anime that opened me to the whole DBZ universe and still to this day is my favorite of the series.

The biggest challenge of this piece overall was drawing the M16. I never draw weapons and have never drawn one before so I had a great time breaking it down. I hope to do more mechanical work like this in future illustrations.
